Ronnie “Ruen” Navarro, originally from East Los Angeles, has been active in the world of breaking since 1994. A dose of witnessing his brothers, cousins and friends around the neighborhood hone their craft was all it took for him to be hooked to the art.
Ruen has become one of the legendary Bboys in the history of break dancing. His talents are changing the way people around the world view the Bboy culture. Ruen has taken the basics of break dance and brought them to a new and exciting level.
By 16, B-Boy Ruen hit the global circuit, competing and judging breaking events around the world. He racked up national and international titles along the way; accolades that cleared the path for the West Coast b-boy to perform with high profile pop artists the Black Eyed Peas and hip-hop legend KRS-One.
Today, B-Boy Ruen aims to keep his wealth of power moves and slick combos on track with the beat, representing his duo of crews — Killafornia and Style Elements — each step of the way.
